Mr. Syed Abul Fazal Rizvi brings with him over twenty-five years of experience across large-scale industrial projects, energy ventures, and sustainability initiatives. He began his career in the United States, working in HVAC design on large-scale commercial projects before returning to Pakistan. He joined Engro Fertilizers in 1998, where he held various leadership and project management roles. In 2018, he was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company and Thar Power Company, where he led key public–private partnership projects under CPEC. During his tenure, he achieved international standards in safety, efficiency, and operational excellence. As the CEO of Thar Foundation, he also spearheaded community development and CSR initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods in Thar. He served as the Chief Supply Chain and Commercial Officer at Lucky Electric Power Company in 2022, overseeing procurement & operations for strengthening business performance and operational resilience.

Mr. Rizvi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University and completed the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD. His leadership has been recognized globally, earning him CEO of the Year Award (2021) from The British Safety Council and the Gold Award for sustainable development from The Green Organization, UK.

Mr. Rizvi joined Shabbir Tiles and Ceramics Limited in November 2025 as the Chief Executive Officer, bringing with him a clear vision to enhance operational excellence, drive efficiency, and create long-term value for the stakeholders.
